Since I am back here – there is a lot to share!! I AM VERY HAPPY TO SHOW YOU THIS PLAYLIST I CURATED FOR ELLE RADIO: SONIC WARDROBE.
Even though it was dedicated to fashion month, it perfectly serves for all months, every day. Fashion weeks are famously intense for everyone involved or following so in my view, slow music simply doesn’t belong in the ears of fashion lovers during such a dynamic time. The playlist is designed to be versatile equally suited to travelling to shows, getting ready backstage, creating fashion content, or even powering through a gym session.
When I was invited to create SONIC WARDROBE, I was genuinely thrilled, because (there is no surprise haha) music is the format through which I express who I am. Those who love fashion invariably love music too. There is one track in particular that stands out for me, it’s ‘Unique’ by Danube Dance, released in 1992. It’s energetic, unmistakably infused with 90s spirit (I loooove this era), & it came out the very year I was born.
