i love love love aesthetics & strive for not only quality & functionality, but also beauty. in everything. today i want to introduce the Scandinavian & timeless design brand IITTALA.
although initially my wish-list only included glasses (somehow they break very easily at home), it quickly expanded to include other items after visiting the IITTALA showroom. The plates from the Oiva Toikka Kastehelmi collection caught my attention (i thought of mixing a few shades, the pine green seemed very attractive & cozy) & a larger bowl from the same collection, a smaller Alvar Aalto gray bowl, & the iconic Alvar Aalto vase, which is a true work of art + tableware is something that can easily travel from house to house (especially if you don’t have your own home yet), so it’s definitely worth investing in.
