When we moved to Milano we took only 2 suitcases (& one hand luggage). We expected to find our new home in two – maximum three weeks (very optimistic) but the reality hit different & we found our home only after 1.5 months (lucky us!!!!!), then we had to wait one more month to move in & then 1.5 months more for our stuff to arrive from Lithuania. You can do the math :)) & I must say time in between was really fun & interesting, although I never had a lot of clothing & I always always buy very responsibly & usually vintage/pre-loved treasures (vestiaire amore mio), & only good quality (& design!!), but I have to admit, there were not many options for me in my one suitcase for almost 4 months, keeping in my that I also had business trips, DJ gigs, modeling castings, fashion events & other things where I need clothing variety (especially for changing seasons, I came to Milano in my vintage fur coat & then after couple weeks it was +18!).
Anyways, I don’t want to sound dramatic because the result of all this is very & very & very gratifying – when our things from Lithuania finally reached us (we had 10 not super big boxes) & I saw all my clothing + shoes on the bed (I can’t tell the same about my sunglasses – I have a few but reaaaaalllly goood – & bags, because in total I have 6 – my vintage Chanel hobo style bag that I am taking everywhere with me, Balenciaga chain bag for everyday when I don’t need much stuff, then my super big-custom made leather bag I made back in Lithuania, because I wanted maxi bag & I couldn’t find the one I like so I decided to create it, then mini purple attico bag for my dinner dates, one puffy black pillow bag from H&M Studio A/W 2023 & Coperni ring swipe crystal-embellished bag) & something important happened. I started to feel anxious. What should I do with all these things? When am I going wear all these things? Why I have so many things? Do I really need all these things? I realised that I don’t actually need that much (even though I love all of them because every piece has a story).
Because having less & only best is liberating + IT TURNS ON YOUR CREATIVITY – two good pairs of jeans (blue & black), one pair of quality leather pants, 2 good shoulder jackets, couple cotton t-shirts (best black & white), one coat, one trench, 2 or 3 sexy dresses, one cashmere sweater, 2 pair of different heels (open & closed), black tights, one ballet flats, a leopard top, one pair of havaianas, a big bomber jacket (I <3 my Acne Studios bomber), one or two pairs of sneakers (one for gym, the other for loooong walks in the city), 2 pair of boots (one with heels, other flat), one good structured oversized shirt, a suit set + one perfect cut bikini.
Ok, & baggy military cargo pants 2 in 1 (pants x shorts) because it goes with everything!!! (mine are from BACKDOOR MARKET) I’m re-wearing, re-styling, re-repeating all of this. I really love the fact that closet full of labels won’t elevate or fix your taste/style/personality/life (if it’s not there it’s not there, you know what I mean?) & that’s not a real wealth. Maybe after all your energy is the best outfit? Idk.
If I missed something scusi & maybe your list is longer 🙂 but this is all I need & past 4 month was a proof of it as well as my grey FLOW FEMME set that you see in the photos (I’ve been wearing this outfit a lot, a lot) 🙂

That’s why in the next days you’ll find me uploading photos on vestiaire & vinted (I add the links!) + don’t forget to take a good look at your closet from time to time too <333
Baci, mie care!
